Cryotherapy Treatment

I am a truly advocate of getting monthly skin care treatments since one single treatment can make such a difference on the way your skin looks and feels and have a big impact on your overall well-being. Most spa skin treatments include a face, neck and shoulder massage which helps alleviate muscle tension, relieve stress giving you a more relaxed, youthful and radiant appearance. 

The treatment I received by the lovely esthetician, started out with a thorough product explanation of the line of products that are used during the treatment. 

SKIN PERFUSION serums are massaged into the skin by using a "cryolift" machine to further the penetration of the serums into deeper layers of the skin with the aim to target and correct specific skin conditions such as wrinkles, fine lines, dry skin and brown spots. While the serums are being infused into the skin, there is a cooling effect on the skin's surface which stimulates circulation and helps to detoxify the skin from within for a more radiant and healthy looking skin. Each treatment is customized and layered with a combination of 5 different Professional Skin Perfusion serums available to suit the client's needs and specific concerns.

As part of the anti-aging skin treatment, there is also an application of a skin hydrating masque that adds extra hydration to the skin's surface and also furthers penetration of the serums application into deeper layers of the skin.

MY STORY.....

Once I reached my mid-thirties, I really started seeing changes in my skin related to sun exposure and lifestyle habits. Growing up as a child in the 80's, there was not much "Suncare Skin Education" as it is now and you were exposed to many more extrinsic factors like second hand smoking in public places, less organic foods available etc... Fast forward 3 decades later of my life, and in 2012 that's when my "AHA Moment" took place, I found myself suffering from sun spots, more occasional mild stress breakouts, dehydrated skin and fine lines. After trying various spa skin treatments and commercial skin care lines with little success or no visible short-term improvements, I began to do research for a "Dermatological" skin care brand and professional treatments that would help me deal my skin health woes.
